Is it that time of year again? If you can't take a HO, play with the tanks. It happens, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose...learn to avoid it and stay out of furballs.

You do realize that in a HO shot, they may have guns on you, but you also have guns on them too, right? It's just a double edged sword, and also a very easy one to avoid. Next time you see someone going for the HO shot just wait until they are 1.0K out and pull ANY maneuver and they'll miss you. Pull up, dive down, bank left or right, barrel roll, anything works.

You gotta adjust your game instead of expecting HTC to adjust the game for you.

Avoid the head on or avoid the tempest, try other arenas. The DA is a place to practice and get killed a lot.
