Derk, I can only echo what others have already said here.  If you watch your grammar and spelling, and form proper sentences you will probably find people will be less likely to ask your age.  :).  For example, the main thing that I noticed In your initial post was the fact you never capitalized "I" when referring to yourself once in the whole message.  If you type in the same way in the arenas, people will tend to think you are very young and ask your age.  I recently played under Subway's command in a scenario and can honestly say I had no idea he was only 15 until he told us during the last frame!  This was mainly because of the mature way he communicated with his team, using good grammar and spelling so that none of us suspected for a moment that he was so young.

So my advice is to try and improve your communication skills with good grammar and spelling, and the questions about your age will become less frequent.  Good luck! ;).  Oh and just for information, I am 56.   :D

I was fascinated with WWII at a very young age and read every book I could about it at the time, and the fascination culminated in me going into the service at 17.  Having the younguns in this game, I would like to think that the fascination still lives in them too.  These may probably be the next generation of Veterans and I personally enjoy them on the site. Even with my 60+ reflexes I flinch when killed by a youngun, but remember that I was 18 when I was in combat. Too bad Aces High wasn't around way back then. I would have been on it.

Derk.
Its how wolf cubs are raised, only there is no body language in the MA, no glares. Having an interest in Aircraft doesn't entitle children to be treated like adults.
So the society tries to rear you with the tools they have. The young wolves that get it, get treated better and the other wolf cubs can decide if they want that better treatment, or want to keep on like they are.

As to why, because, all cultures must socialize their members. If you are 14, you will be going through this in every facet of your life for the next few years.

Be sure, if you are still playing when you are 21, you will get it when a 12 year old starts piping off on 200. You cant glare at them, you can't shake your head at them, you cant do anything but squelch them or flame them. Me, I just squelch them, I have my own sons to raise.

You want real fun, thow a few Ehs in on vox, then you will get some ridicule

I'm 17 graduating next week from high school, and leaving in less than a month to go to boot camp, proably one of the most mature kids outside the game, but I don't have fun playing the game the way I play it. I like being a jerk, a dork, immature at times, but to me thats were I have the fun. Some people may never see that, but that's whatever.

please no smart remarks, thanks

Actually you're not a "kid" anymore.  You're a young man.  Play the game, have fun, try to be respectable and don't take the ribbing to heart.  Most of all enjoy being a young man.  Time flys! :D
You’re breaking my heart, you’re tearing it apart, so
