Saw something early this year. Was the only time I've ever seen anything I can't explain.

Just a white object maybe 1/3 of a mile away. At first I thought it was a seagull because it was shaped like one and it appeared to be flapping. Then I realized I'm in Arizona. :huh Then it seemed to be too bright and without texture to be a bird, plus it was going at least 4-500 miles an hour.

Probably just some weird atmospheric phenomena. Definitely didn't make me think extraterrestrial. Just kinda looked like a lens flare or something. 'Cept for the fact I saw it with the naked eye.

Lots and lots of stuff we still don't know about Earth's atmosphere and how it interacts with the magnetic field. I'm willing to bet that most ufo sightings can be put into this category. As for the others, who knows? The government can keep anything under wraps if they really want to.

If it makes you feel any better Junky, I live 5 blocks from the Capitol and work 3 blocks from the white house.  I'm within in the close-enough-to-not-know-what-hit-me range.

Also, what made you think of this in the thread?

My thoughts exactly.   :aok
I know this wont make anyone feel any better but i thought it was kinda Interesting.

Any reason you picked Tsar Bomba for that? If terrorists managed to get their hands on a nuke it'd surely be a very small bomb. Something along the lines of Little Boy or Fat Man.

Tsar Bomba wasn't even weaponized. It was mainly just an ego stroker.
