How about some new kinds of bombs to choose from. Like Napalm. I know it was used extensively in the Pacific theater to burn down the undergrowth, but i just want to drop some on the town. Tell me what you think.

But seriously, Napalm would be nice. Depth charges? Mines? Bouncing bomb (Depth charge, but the kind that would skip across land). I would like to see a few of these in the future.

Napalm would be pretty cool but I think fire damage would need to be incorporated into the existing damage model.  Would be nice to drop 'em on tanks or create your own firestorm in the large cities.

Incendiary bombs are what you want for dropping on towns I believe, we got plenty of them over here were still pickin em out of the Thames.

Napalm would be by far the most destructive bit of ordnance we'd have in game as it would kill anything, tanks, people, buildings, etc.  The link is to a report about the effectiveness of napalm during the Korean War that was originally published in 1951 an issue of the Naval Aviation News.

I think you are correct, Napalm didn't come around until I think Vietnam, what they had in WWII was much like Napalm, but was not as thick. And incendiary sounds about right...
