i've never hit the edge in an A20 to break up. you dont dive fast in them cobia, you stall fight and pull wide turn fights in them. the two heavy engines it has can pull you into a good stall and nose right back over on the enemy. I just killed 9 today in 3 flights. 4 one and landed, 2 the next and died, 3 after that and landed
im 13 kills to 3 deaths so far this tour in it against fighters in the A20. you can look at my stats if you dont believe me :aok

it actually handles nicely at high speeds, but then again i just started flying it so i,m still learning  ;)

Yak9T& U, Ki-61, C-205/202 all tend to be under used, and flown by those who truly understand them.

All of them have a slight handycap of one form or another. Be it short ammo clip, poor cockpit visibility, etc.

My personal favorite currently is the Ki-61. Nose mounted guns, high rate of fire, fast enough to be dangerous, agile enough to get me out of trouble, or deeper into it.

I can get it to about 460 or so but anything over 380 requires careful handling and at about 410 it's easy to shed stuff...

110c, throttle control is everything.  Shes big, shes fat, you don't want your friends seeing you ride it but ohhhhhhhhhh...............the guns, huge, sticking in your face, with the nipples pointing up.

One of the issues was that, when plastic surgery is done wrongly, the symptom is called "star-gazing".

Most of the time I feel like I'm the only one that flies it regularly.

Been flying the C205 regularly for the last couple of tours. My kill/death ratio is significantly better in it than my overall average. That said. I still haven't fully worked out the cannon ballistics.

My three favorite rides, and not in any order of preference

C202
KI61
LA5

Luv those birds and they're not flown much.... except by a few of us.

Hardly ever see any variants of the 109 other than K, and those are mostly flown by the muppets.
