Looking for a P38 spot this Friday
« on: June 10, 2010, 02:51:15 PM »
If anyone has a P38 spot for FSO this Friday, I'd like to join up.

Thanks in advance!

Hope you enjoyed it Del :aok,  Guess we could have called that mission "Escape From France" :lol, since only 4 of us escaped back to England.  Guess all that defensive training I've been teaching paid off for myself on that mission :rofl

It was good; plenty to shoot at and with excitement.

From the logs, it looks like we ran into several squadrons using 33 to hotpad, the mission was doomed upon lift off.

That said, I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

All p38's slots were discontinued. I have some 109 G6 spots available. You should at least try both sides on your visit...... :salute

I hate to poach on delirium's thread but I'd love a P38 spot friday as well. Barring that I'll fly anything.

You're better off taking Dawger anyway, he is a much better stick than I am.

If you have a second spot, please, think of me.  :)

Yea, right.

Don't mistake my handsome face and suave, debonair charm for any concept of manned flight.

Thanks for letting me tag along.

The experience was great fun but it convinced me that if I am going to get back into any serious online flying I'll need to build a new system. This one is maxed out on upgrades and I had frame rates down to 5 at times during the event.

My desktop is ancient.

Anyway, thanks again but I won't ask again until I build a new machine. :)

You cleaned up Del! I was very impressed and wished I could fly the P-38 as you do.
Dawger thanks for getting the guy that got me.
I was working on VIOLATER, (A Muppet) and was thinking I had this guy. I went from about 30 seconds of "This guys is all mine.", to five seconds of "Oh Crap! This is bad!"

Now if we could only get him to fly a fighter instead of a bomber :neener:

sorry Del, I still owed you from the comments in the TA about me :lol
