We've had the coversation before and yes, D-5 has them aswell.

Don't recall we've ever had a conversation before on this. Anyway, it seems we're both right. The initial production run of the D-5 did retain the dive brakes but later as the Stuka's role changed and was used almost exclusively in the anti-tank/close ground support role, the dive brakes weren't on the later production runs.
So back to Pyro's initial question about the G-1 having dive brakes. It is my understanding that only the factory produced G-1s didn't have the dive brakes but the D-3s that were converted and redesignated as G-1s still retained the dive brakes as with the D-3s that received the 37mm Flak 18 cannons but weren't redesignated. Would this mean that the D-5s that were converted to G-2s on the field would have retained the dive brakes as well?
