I am not 100% sure, but I do believe this is the first time I have seen someone complain that we fix bugs.

Blew coffee right out of my nose on that one.   Maybe we could include a twitter blog about the patching process to make it more interesting

Pyro [0835]: Opened up the code. Found a bug in windows mode and squashed it. Time to test
Pyro [0917]: Skuzzy said he's going to starcluks. Ordered a Venti dark.
Pyro [0948]: Driking venti dark while I test.
Pyro [1014]: Off for pee break
Pyro [1016]: Back testing on test server. Sudz drops by talking about going to Oishi in Lewisville. Maybe.

Pyro [1158]: Going to Oishi with Sudz and Superfly. Hitech will join us l8tr.
Pyro [1304]: Had some good rolls at Oishi. Tummy's definately not happy. Testing fix.
Pyro [1314]: Lunch is definately not making tummy happy. Gonna hit up Hitech for Tums.
Pyro [1344]: Seems there might of some bad sushi. Skuzzy is barfin. Ruh roh.
Pyro [1404]: Gettin sweats but made good progress on fuel gauge issue with TBM.
Pyro [1425]: Off to lay more timber.
Pyro [1455]: Sweating badly with cold chills. Superfly had a nice shart in my office - he's gone home.
Pyro [1500]: Off to lay timber, but not sure which way to face toilet when I get there.
Pyro [1550]: Help! I can't get off toilet. Someone. Please. @)(#*!*!

Pyro [1759]: going home in 10 and I need new pants and chair needs drycleaning.  (#@*@!* raw fish. #@$*@ gauges.
Pyro [0800]: Found Skuzzy sleeping on toilet. He's been here all nite. Poor bugger.

Look out. He identifies Superfly as a sharter.

Ten bux says that he was trying to show off when it happened. We had a 50-year old man showing off in the office back when I was with Komatsu. On his third one, he did the same thing and had to calf-walk to the john.

We were good swells about it though. When he came back I told him, "don't you worry about anything, Elmer. You're not the first grown man to s**t his pants in the office". For some reason, that didn't seem to make him feel any better.

im not trying to complain about the bug fixes, im just simply saying its dissapointing to get all excited about a new update to find its only just bug fixes... like 8 times in a row :(

im dilligently waiting for an update in the ww1 arena, i love it, and i think with some updating more people would play in it, which is its biggest downfall right now. gotta get on early in the night and hope theirs a handfull of pilots in there to fly with  :salute

i thought i made that a little more clear, but just to clarify again...

Maybe, but I've got it on good advice that you should NOT use that as an excuse to start a thread inciting others to berate the complainer.

For background, I did a little experiment based off a locked thread that had turned into a rag-fest against a well-known AH player. Once that thread locked down, I started a new one asking others to continue their creative musings on the nature of the player in question. skuzzy waded in with the warnings all around.

It's not bad.  I've eaten at Osihi a few times. No tummy problems - I usually go for the tempura. :D

Remember, a complaint is someone telling you something ain't right because they care enough about something to voice their concerns.  And that only occurs in 1 out of 10 unhappy clients.  So if someone is complaining at your service desk, take an ear to what exactly they're complaining about.  Chances are, its just poor communication and mismatched expectations.

"I.e. I expect the widget to work when I open the box.  The widget didn't work and I had to waste more of my time, get back into my car, drive over to your store, because you can't sell stuff that works right."

Could HiTech do more to communicate?  Depends on the expectations they wish to set.  I think they've set the right balance.
