I've drummed for a few bands and let me tell you, you get to those songs with a straight 4/4 and you're bored out of your mind. Fair play to him for making it a bit more interesting for everyone.

Great find! I know how boring it can be to play the 4/4 songs over and over, and I dont blame the drummer for spicing things up. Great showmanship. Not too many drummers have that these days.

I've been on a show with these guys before so let me say this.  Be glad it's only a short YouTube video and not the entire concert.  The band is cheesy beyond belief and the drummer never quits with the stick wagging.  It's entertaining at first, but it doesn't take too long before you want to put him in a straight jacket.  I'm sure it plays well for the "oh look at that" crowd, but in my world of musicians, the guy is being laughed at.

Nothing special.

To be fair to the guy he was mildly entertaining for about 20 seconds......but lets be real.  In this world of five billion plus evolved monkeys talent like that comes packaged in a fast food wrapper.  bleh.....
