Anyone here an Anthropologist or knows one?

Its one of my intended majors and would love to know more about it from a practicing one.

I have known three and its an occupation that they would say is hazardous if you could ask them.

One was studying the Inuit and died in the arctic circle when a ferry capsized.
Another was studying indigenous people in Papua New Guinea and got eaten by the natives (or so they think).
The third was studying ancient cultures in South America but drug smugglers thought he was CIA and killed him.

I hear Paleontology is much safer!

Im from South America, I love snow and my region of interest is Oceania.

I think your talking about the Polynesian Islands to Micronesia area? How does snow come into play there? 

Or are you talking about the Oceania of the Sci-Fi book 1984?

Holly shmo... I am sure glad to be on the safe side of science. Never ever do any kind of science that involve people. They will either eat you or sue you. Science was  meant for the misanthropes.
