Petition: STOP BAD PS3 PORTS

Hey PS3 owners and fans. I would like to ask of all of you to sign my petition to stop game developers from creating bad PS3 ports. Games like F.E.A.R., The Orange Box, and even Sonic the Hedgehog (for cripe sake) all suffered from the bad porting over the PS3 from incompatible developer hardware. We all know the PS3 is FAR more capable of pumping out amazing things than that of it's competitor the 360. Developers are using the 360 development kits (because they are "easy" to use) and then pretty much copying and pasting over to the PS3 without optimizing the port for the PS3's superior hardware engine which leaves the PS3 version with missing artifacts, loooong load times (Tekken), dips in frames or even lower framerates than that of the 360's, and somewhat downgraded graphics. This isn't fair to all of us who have to pay 59.99 for less and watch 360 owners pay 49.99 for more. It's a slap in our faces and we need to let the developers know that they need to put their ALL into pushing their PS3 kits to the limits and not be SCARED of a little hard work. Please sign the petition and help make multi-platform port games for the PS3 BETTER.

I like both consoles, I've owned 3 360's, still have the core console from 2006 and i now own a PS3 Slim, I LOVE IT! But really? The games, where you can make so much more money by actually working a bit harder and lets not mention more easily with so much more space on the Blu-Ray and all they do is paste the data?

This seems an awful lot like the argument PC players were using with the MW2 port.  I will give you the same advice that pc players were given by the consolers.  "Suck it up and get used to it.  The xbawks has a larger player base than the PS3 so they should get the best."  In all honesty as more of the major devs go for the quick buck rather than customer loyalty this is going to happen more and more until there is no innovation left.

That comment and using it as a blanket statement to give the false impression that it's done by every development studio.  Honestly, the people that create petitions like this have no idea what goes into developing a game.

If you're going to get GT5 and if it ever gets released in our life time, you should look at the collector's edition.  It comes with a lot of nice toys.

I own both consoles,and just bought MLB10 the Bigs.I don't normally use the consoles that much,but my son does.The baseball game is nice,but I'm game pad challenged!I'm sure I'll get on to it,but looking at a lot of the whiners on Utube that the game is to difficult,gives me some concern.I have a few days where I can take it back if I can't cut it'

For the console guys, I recommend checking out GameFly.  Rental system like Netflix but for games, really don't need to buy a game again.
