Yes I do, it really is a blast. It's also amazing how the community takes it so many steps further with all the great mods. I highly suggest it to anyone.

I have it and while being really, really, really bad at it do enjoy playing.  Never been able to consistently find people to play with however.

Been thinking about getting this game. I enjoyed the first one and could use something new to fiddle with.

How hardware intensive is it? Are we talking high-end custom PCs? Or could I hack it with 2.3 GHz and a Radeon 4650?

It's tough on graphics, but you can adjust many features to make it playable.  I don't have a high end system so I have to turn down a lot of the eye candy to make it work.  Project Reality (BF2 Mod) is also developing a mod for ArmA2.

I have:
Dual Pentium E2220 @ 2.40GHZ
4GB ram
Vista Home Premium SP2
Nvidia 7900 GTX

With this on medium settings and with a 720p monitor I get decent frame rates. In big cities I may get down to 20 or so fps, but in the open takistan and in chernarus I get around 40 fps.

I've been wanting to fly the helos in it. Been looking for a squad to learn how to fly in the game. And it would be good to fly to team up with someone and have some fun. We could form up an AH squad there.
