Little bit more realism
« on: June 22, 2010, 04:16:25 PM »
I was thinking that it would be cool if you could be flying low and see the smoke from ground wars going on. Not by players but by the 'computers'. ( that make since?)
If you have a good sound gun then you could possibly here the gun shots down low. Also, the small flashes from the guns when you lok down would be pretty cool too. You don't have to see the actual soldiers either, the smoke would be so dense from the guns.

Just an idea,

Extra smoke and sounds would hurt frame rates, and I don't think it's worth if for a little eye candy you can't even interact with.  Sorry

The things some people don't know. They weren't using black powder weapons.

And what you wrote makes neither sense nor since.

Not only would it hurt frame rates, but I don't particularly wish to see coloums of smoke rising out of random spots in the ground. Not exactly realistic.
