Jayhawk, you shouldn't leave your gun and your cell phone next to each other when they are the same size.  You might answer the wrong one and shoot yourself. :P

Hmm, did the timing of this 'transition' happen simultaneously with getting a female visit in the house perhaps? :D

In some way simpits are cool but in MANY other ways they're pretty childish things. Toyboxes for grown men :)

most men have unnecessary toys, whether it be a simpit, an unnecessary vehicle such as a seldom used show type vehicle, some form of recreational vehicle like a boat, or quad, or motorcycle or waverunner. All nice to have but unnecessary just the same. maybe you have a hunting or fishing habit and have spent a fair amount of money on equipment for this hobby.

Most men have hobbies that are unnecessary, this is just another type of indulgence.

I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out - pic was a little dark for me.  Is that a Glock 26?

Sorry, flash on camera crapped out.  I considered getting a Glock 26 for CCH, I have a Glock 19 so could have used the magazines for the 26.  However, I went with the Kahr PM40 instead.  It's a good gun and thinner than the G26, of course more expensive though.  It's sitting in a Galco IWB holster there.

If you too would like to try your hand at building yourself a simpit, then have I got news for you.  All you need are 2 full sheets of plywood and the plans for the Akers Barnes cockpit and you too can see what it's all about for yourself. :D

Actually you're suppose to get permission to build the A&B pit too.  :D

And if you think that's all there is too it.. Well maybe it is for you.

Are you kidding, my wife of 27 years loved it! If I got to drunk to drive home she'd just shut down the computer and recline the seat and tuck me in.   :D   On another plus side, she was happy I got $100 for it after I pulled it out.
