I would would like to send out my heartfelt prayers to the family of Cpl. Jeffrey R. Standfest who has made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was a good friend of my son who went to engineer school with him and are assigned to the same unit. Sometimes I fear we forget what these brave men are doing for us.
Sometimes this stuff hits a little to close to home.
