You still have to fly to and engage the closest contact or engagement. If that engagement happens to contain a Wabbit, when you get to that fight, you can gang the wabbit.
You mention the second closest fight, well then you should engage the first closer fight. If the wabbit does enter your fight, you and whomever was in that fight can then gang the wabbit, and should.

Correct

We've discussed this in the past (you, me, Dogg) and IIRC we decided that if you can get to the other fight within the 30 seconds it is a valid tactic.  I remember you/I talking at length about this rule when we created it and this has always been a 'loophole' in the rule.  As long as you merge after extending you are "ok".  It doesn't really matter WHO you merge with as long as it is in that 30 second window.

You can travel quite far in 30 seconds and as long as you merge with the Wabbit within' that 30 sec. it is within the rules.

(I miss hunting wabbits...)

and is also correct.

I really don't want to make more rules and such.  We alrdy have to many and would love to do away with some but there are still some who insist on pushing the limits.  So therefore we need all the rules we have.

Note how rule 3 is explained now:
3) upon launching, do your best to get separation on the rest of your opponents. A icon separation of 5K minimum is required, try to get out of icon range if at all possible.
  * If you are under 5k range when the Host CM calls “NoJoy Time”, the 'NoJoy' rule applies.
  * NoJoy rule means u CAN’T engage a person within 5k range when “Fights On” is called by the Host CM if you or someone called NoJoy.
  * You both must find someone else to fight first.
  * If BOTH people agree to fight after separating they can cancel their nojoy.

For Bruv: * You both must find someone else to fight first.
and WMLute: * NoJoy rule means u CAN’T engage a person within 5k range when “Fights On” is called by the Host CM if you or someone called NoJoy.

Y'all changed the wording on me eh?

No worries, as soon as fight is on they can cancel the NoJoy and gang da' Wabbit.

Don't run from a fight.  (longer than 30 sec)

Always be nose on to a fight.

Don't go over 6k.

Don't wing w/ a player. (every person for them self)

Pretty much it in a nutshell.

wheres the smiley of "going right over a head...?"

those rules I understand..........what the heck is   "nojoy" all about....I understand if someone calls "nojoy" on a con, that con cannot attack the one who calls "nojoy" I just don't understand the reasoning behind it.

It's when "FIGHT IS ON" is called, if you have a con within icon range, you can call nojoy on him for no fight.  It's supposed to make sure everyone has enough separation and is prepared for a good merge.  It's probably a little far but there's plenty of room to get separation so there's no reason not to be anyways.

well I understand a bit better I guess. with a 5k separation though, seems a bit silly for that to be even a rule. just a way around fighting someone you don't want to.

It basically gives you a 'fair' first fight and prevents someone from tailgating and opening fire as soon as "*FIGHTS ON*" is sent out. Wabbits can use it to neuter pesky close in wabbit hunters too. After each fights another though, anyone is fair game.

that is near exactly the issue i ran into...... one of you must fly away from the wabbit or cancel the nojoy......... I had called nojoy and was heading to the wabbit, so did they..... 2 attacking a wabbit but are nojoy'ed against each other creats a conflict....

is why when nojoy is called you should fly away from each in opposite directions and should not engage the same "1st" opponent once fight on, is called.....

hmmm.

What about this... you can not fight each other until another fight as taken place which cancels the no joy but since you can dogpile the wabbit after hes did both nojoy opponents are then open game to each other or am I wrong.

You can't be NoJoy someone and then both attack the Wabbit.

One of you needs to find another fight and THEN come back to the Wabbit.

(or both cancel the NoJoy OR fight in such a way that you end up fighting the Wabbit as well as each other and decide they want to kill the Wabbit first)
