YB-40 (B-17 Gunship)
B-29 (just like everyone else wants it as a perked plane)

Lancasters with Tallboy (12,000lb) and Grand Slam (22,000lb) bombs.

F-7F Tigercat & F-8F Bearcat (very late war fighters)
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

B-29 (just like everyone else wants it as a perked plane) Everyone? No way ;)

Lancasters with Tallboy (12,000lb) and Grand Slam (22,000lb) bombs. We don't have appropriate targets for those

F-7F Tigercat & F-8F Bearcat (very late war fighters) So late that none saw any action.

YB-40 (B-17 Gunship)
Experimental conversion and unsuccessful in it's intended mission. Only 26 built.

B-29 (just like everyone else wants it as a perked plane)
NOT.

Lancasters with Tallboy (12,000lb) and Grand Slam (22,000lb) bombs.
Not appropriate for use in the main arenas. I know you're just wanting them to drop a base in a single pass, that's gamey.

F-7F Tigercat & F-8F Bearcat (very late war fighters)
Never saw combat in WWII.

Spitefire Mk8 CV
No such animal ever existed.

Quote
Bristol Beufighter ( Torpedo And Intruder Version )
Nice choice, even if misspelled.

Quote
Gloster Gladiator
Might be amusing along with the I-153 and CR.42. Still low priority.

Quote
Focke Wolf Condor
Extremely fragile maritime patrol aircraft.  Wouldn't have much use in AH and as a fairly large aircraft would take a lot of work to add.

Quote
Westlnd Whirlwind
Rare aircraft, would be a nice perk plane in the Early War Arena....if the Hurricane IIc didn't exist.

Quote
Fairy Sordfishp
Sank more tonnage of Axis shipping than any other torpedo bomber and outlasted its replacement so it definitely merits addition based on historical relevance, however it would perform far, far more poorly in AH.

Quote
Fleet Air Arm Hurricane MkIIc and MkIc
No such think as a Mk Ic.  Sea Hurricane would be nice, but Seafire was more important so given the choice between a Sea Hurri and a Seafire Mk III, I'd take the Seafire.

Quote
Fairy Battle's
Sheer, utter death trap.

Quote
Hampdens
Neat looking bomber, but Wellington would be better to add.

Quote
Gloster Meteor
Maybe someday, but extremely low priority.  Only Allied jet that is even an option though.

Quote
Fairey Fulmar
I'd rather see the Fairey Firefly, but I don't think either are high priorities.

The only British aircraft that I'd say have a decently high priority would be the Wellington, the Beaufighter and perhaps a bomber version of the Mosquito.

The Russian and Japanese sets need attention, if possible.  Data is an issue there.

Don't forget the Handley-Page Halifax!

made a huge impact in night bombing campaigns before the arival of the Lancaster in 1942 and continued to be used alongside the lancs

oh, and the Ki-43, G4M, B-17F, the list goes on....

British Planeset is lacking a bit, not as badly as the Russian, Japanese or Misc. Countries though (Australia, Italy, China, France, Greece, etc). 4 of which don't even have aircraft in the game right now. I'd say work on the higher priority planeset first. Decent ideas though.

Wildcat1,

The Halifax is a low priority in my opinion because it is so extremely similar to the Lancaster in role and capability.  It is also a very large aircraft and would consequently take a lot of work to add.  If that much work is to be done to add a single aircraft I think it would be better put to something more game changing like an He177 or H8K2.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Next thing we know, you'll be badmouthing the Bolton-Paul Defiant! :D

I would love to see the gladiator and swordfish, but I agree that they would fare best in the stricter historical scenarios/ early war.

FW 190 A-9. Faster than the La7 OTD, saw plenty of combat action, and around 1,000 produced :rock
The Kanonenvogel had 6 rounds per pod, this is not even close to being open for debate.

I would love to see thisd plane added eventually, but it isn't a huge priority. the Russian, Japanese and Italian planesets need more work than the German planeset. Good plane though, first I've ever seen anyone bring it up.  :aok
