Audio glitching

All of a sudden my6 audio has begun glitching. It intermittenly turns on and off ever 1/2 second or so. This causes many stutters in the game in is super annoying. The last time this happened was during the last big software update.

I would guess this thread will be moved to technical support soon.  Either way, I would suggest you post your DXDIAG for those smarter than me to take a look at.

Do you have your sound hardware acceleration set to 3/4, as recommended, and not full?   Are you using a custom sound pack?

Fixed it by removing program and reinstalling. Very annoying but at least it is fixed. Thnks.
