Color Blind Users and Aces High

The most common form of color blindness is red-green color blindness.  Affected individuals (I'm one) can usually see red and green but they are much harder to distinguish than other colors.

All the vehicle icons and map counters and markers in Aces High are red and green.  

Doh!  Bad Choice!

But it can be easily rectified.  In the setup menus, add red/green/blue sliders for friendly and enemy colors, similar to Warbirds.

This would make the game a lot easier for us to play!

I will support this too.  I am not color blind, but I think the green is a tad too neon to read easily myself.  I am just itching to darken the green up a bit.

The green (snipped muppet singing) is too neon, and I cant see the red icons against the ground. I would be happy with pink targets if I could see them.

I suggest all icons be the same color. Be more realistic, you'd have to check closely to see if he's friend or foe.

I have some color blindness as well

It would really be nice to have the same softwear that World of Tanks have for color blindness :D
I have a problem with Tanking and the ground colors and tank colors.

Me too, pain in the butt.  I'd wish the dots on the map could be varied (ex, square, diamond, triangle, circle) and some of the gas gauges are brutal to try and read the little red indicators.

Go to clipboard/options/preferences/GUI but i dont think you can change the color of the enemy icon. I'm not sure because it's the one color I haven't tried to change is all.

I didn't pick up that the original poster didn't know about the sliders, but even with those I've got three colors I can use (and see) for icons/map, yellow, blue and black.  So if squaddies' dot's were diamonds instead of squares, that'd be a great help.  And the sliders don't do anything for the small total fuel indicator on the fuel gauge.

I too am color blind I just wish I could make all lettering Black so I could read who's in VOX and my damage etc.
