It's in that AvA...but would cause whines to appear on the boards en masse if it were put into use in the MA....

We had it in the MA many moons ago, once the novelty wore off it lost a lot of the appeal.

By a simple tweak of ColorLigh(night) one can make night time about as clear as day.

You get the look of night with the clarity of day.

It always is a heated argument... personally I'd like to see 15-20 minutes of night from time to time.. just to shake things up a bit but not enough to make people quit over it... but HTC obviously makes the call regarding this

then what is the point of having night fiting.  why not those who want night fighting just darken their screen.  there really should be no difference, if we get night those that dont like it will just lighten their screen or tower for a while.

If it would just happen 1 day, then we could have the P61, Me262 night fighter version, mossie night fighter, and 110 night fighter version. There are more but these are some of the big ones.

What if we do have a night setting, but players can change their own settings by brightening the hue? Will that work?

If HiTech decided to bring night time back, they could easily offset how hard it is to see things with the MA settings. They can change the lighting to be a bit brighter than usual night settings

That's actually the problem. You CAN adjust your own settings to negate the darkness, giving you unfair advantage against those who either don't know how or want to fight "blind."
