 I wish for the Spitfire IXc with the 4 20mm hispano cannons Please Guy's
You can use the Mk9 Model you have and just upgade it PLEASE Guy's

Imagine a Spit wi 4 20 mm Hispano Cannons  OH GOD SEXY OR WHAT   :pray :pray  :pray :pray  :pray  :pray  :pray  :pray

Only ever seen pictures of Vc's with the 4x20mm option.

1 maybe 2 Mk VIII's

IX's had a problem with heating the outer cannon on each wing.
Dan will correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think they flew operationally with 4x20mms, (or it's rarer that rocking horse doodoo).

4x20mm didn't become standard until the Mk.21 .

Oh - It's just a IX , no c designation. Only had IX and IXe, wing type was dropped after the V's, only change was to show an 'e' wing type.

having flown the spit IXc back in FA all those years ago it was heavy and took away everything good about the spit.  If you haven't got the skills to kill with 2 x 20mm hispano then you don't need 2 more.  

Just fly a hurricane instead it can take a few more hits Head on  ;).

However I would like to see a proper seafire,  a clipped Mk V with a super dooper engine and a Spit mk XII.

You realize it would be less "uber" than any two stage Merlin Spit we already have, right?

It is, of course, a bad idea, but "uber" it would not be.
