19' monitor
 Average AH frame rate about 30
 IS it worth my getting a GeForce 3 this week??? will I notice an improvement for the money as itll cost me £320, Ive saved hard for this,so will appreciate honest advice.

Yes you will get a substancial improvement.

I recomend you buy the Geforce3 Ti200 wich will save you a lot, and it can still be overclocked faster than a normal geforce3

You will get a framerate increase but you should get more fps now.

I have the same system (intel 933mhz , gf2 gts)
and i get 50 - 60 fps

Are you using directx8a and 21.83 or the new beta drivers (21.85)?

I'm using the 21.85 beta drivers now and they gave me a few more fps from 21.83

jpeg is right : I have almost the same PC u have and run 1280 by 1024 32 bit , much higher numbers than that .

50's in flight , mid 30's on the runway online . I know that card you have is the next step up from mine .

My v card is Nvidia 32mp 256 pro ,

21.83 driver , directx 8.1 build 695

gelforce tweek program set to proforance , but have v sync enabled .

Fresh format 3 weeks ago , AH only game on it  

I would tell u NOT to buy that new card till u get the one you own now working better .

I tried a gelforce 3 when they first came out and didn't get any fps inprovment , now they have better drivers but they also work better for our older cards also IMO . At least with this version of AH .

I have a Radeon 64 DDR card also but it's going in new tower thats being built . About the same fps but IMO the color looks better .

I havn't tried one of the cards Animal talks about so don't know about it .

I have less of a system and get better than that. I have a 733 and see 40-50 over a field and fighting.

One thing I would tell you to do is to disable FSAA. This alone should up the performance of your card.
