Help with x36 usb / analog rudder!! (ranger bob)
« on: September 23, 2000, 11:14:00 AM »
Hello all,

I was using driver 1.0 that came with x36 combo.  I was getting mini freeze ups while in game. SOmeone suggested to use 1.4 drivers.  I went to install 1.4 but not sure if i took all the old driver out.  I had analog rudder working as well too.  After installing 1.4 know i cant log on to AH.  It seems like the keyboard is out of whack.  I nuke usb and will try to install External drivers again.

Thx in advance.  meanwhile ill sit and work this problem out hope my system does not blow up lol.

Was having the same problem it was the rotator switch on the throttle, the one facing the front. As soon as i rotated it everything worked fine.  I had to do the same thing to get it stared the first time, nuke the stick and reload.  I was using RangerBobs config for the stick.   No one at the con ran into that problem but I had it happen on both mine.

Make sure your rotator knobs on the throttle are always centered when your done flying, or just after landing.

If they are rotated from center they are sending constant commands that will interfere with your computer or attemting to log on etc.

Once you get into the habit of centering them after landing it won't be a problem.
