Before I get a ration and told; "that if I dont like it, cancel your account". I have had a subscription to Aces High for well over five years. I own a internet service that is a provider which use at least double of what HITECH uses and yes I dependent on the 15 to 20 bucks a month each customer pays me. I understand all to well its a very rough go at it nowadays. Many people do not have fifty cents for the entertainment that HiTech offers. I am sure revenues are down and HiTech cant advertise for new subscribers like they did a few years ago. I remeber the T.V. Ads on the History Channel. I realize its a very small operation. With all thats going on and ever shrinking disposal entertainment dollars available. Why doesnt HiTech ask or speak to what the current customer base desires?
I dont think I have ever been asked more then once or twice about what I as a customer would like Hitech to do. Sure I have been polled once or twice about a new object I would like added, but I have never been asked a question like, how are we donig? what I like or dislike? Simple things to get a sense of how my needs as a customer are being met.
After five years dozens of updates and few changes here is what I would suggest:
- What is with the WW1 arenas? I am sure a lot of work went into it, but its an obvious strike out.
- What is with choking off the arenas? 100 people allowed during certain times in late war areas. Half this game is squad play and do we really need two late war arenas? In fact why waste your database with early and mid war arenas? Do the 5 to 10 people who really use them make you that much more profitable?
- Whats with your old, excuse me elderly website? I do a google a search of many terms around this keyword phrase "ww2 flight simulators online" and I dont see Aces High anywhere. Take it from an expert in the field, your missing out on many subscribers because you wont invest a 100.00 bucks into a more modern search engine friendly design. Thats just cheap!

If you had surveyed me like my vendors do, you would have kept my complaints in house and at least made me feel my 50 cents a day was a good purchase.
Okay, let's address some things, shall we?
For starters, your First Tour was March of 2007 (Tour 86), so you embellished 2 additional years (the scores under that account are "par for the course of newbies). The embellishment works against you, as you are deliberately poking your nose into HTC's Day to Day Business Operation. You also attempt to flame them for not having a receipt?
"Expert in what field?" Your grammar is without question horrible and you have the nerve to claim to be "an expert"?! You further try to bring down HTC by questioning the EW and MW Arenas and wish to bring "profit margin" into your rant.
As for the website, most of us don't need a "fancy website". What is "fancy" is the GAME. The GAME is more important than the website. Without Dale's reputation and AH, any website is meaningless. But the goal is not to focus on a "slick" website, the goal is to increase the capabilities of AH.
Never mind this BS:
Would it really hurt Hitech to send a email receipt when they collect your money each month. My merchant account does it automaticaly. It also makes my customers feel appreciated. Another thing that makes clients feel appreciated is when they have invested the time and very little money to build a decent website. Its a few hours work? I get the feelling the spend there profits at the local racetrack. Come on a email and real website would be nice.
Now you're attempting to tell HTC's how to spend their salaries? Again, your horrible grammar and multitudes of misspellings speak volumes of how ill informed you are. IDGAF what HTC does with the salaries they EARN! It's their business/money, they are free to spend their salaries as they wish. Do you think they work for free?
Even better yet:
Willy928: are you capable of reading?
HiTech wrote:Make all the game play suggestions you want, but please don't try arguing the marketing of AH.
HiTech
Dale responded twice with the above bold statements and you still tried to "call him out", demanding an explanation. So a lot of us are in the agreement that while you can probably read, your comprehension is another story.
Good coments, even the critical ones that were posted. I want to make myself clear, I enjoy the produst, especially with my squadmates whom I have known for over 5 years. However a lack of new customers detracts from the gameplay. Lets be fair, most of us play in the Late War Arenas. The product plays much better when more people are on. When one arena is choked to only 100 players and the second Late War Arena has 30 or so, the game play bites. The answer is to get new paying customers to fill the second arena or dont choke them when all the players online can easily play on one.
Right now where I would expect people who play online games use the interent to find new venues. Unless you have knowledge that there is a game called "Aces High" you will not find it. As it stands right now, today there are roughly 40 search terms in search engines where you would expect to learn about Aces High. Right now Aces High rates at 2% where it should easily rate at 70%. The reason is an old antiquated website. The solution is to purchase a template, a good one should not cost more then 100.00 and let one of the staff spend two and a half days putting the site together. It would make a huge difference from what you see today. Instead of this early 80's frames style site they present now. It would take a month or two to see the results, but I am confident there would be more players. You cant sell a Mercedes when you yourself drive a Yugo.
The second thrust of my original post was that I send out thousands of purchase verifications to my clients, not only is it a reciept, but a thank you for spending your hard earned money with my business. Its just rude for HiTech not to do that. It would only take a minute to automaticaly enable that process and it would certainly would not cost anything.
Wrong, it's just rude for your lying, no excuse to even be remotely arrogant arse to even have posted this thread. Your scores are horrible and since you don't bother to challenge yourself in game to improve on those things, you come in here and attempt to tell HTC how to run their business?!
As for your stupid receipt needing arse, I'll leave it as this. IF they were to enact this, now it is more time away from doing other things. My "receipt" is my being able to log in. Everything comes with a cost. If you get the receipt, rates COULD increase for something as useless as a receipt. If a freak storm hits HTC, IDGAF, I won't whine about not being able to play for a day, etc. To even remotely bring HTC's work ethic into light, is nothing short of chickenchit and uncalled for.
Unfortunately, I'd tell you to grow up, but your C.O. is greens. The apple doesn't fall from too far from the tree. He didn't even bother to stick up for you, so he obviously hung your arse out to dry. This is also a clear look into how "great your friends and squaddies are". They're nowhere to be seen, so you may have to dabble into "are they really your friends"?
