« on: March 07, 2001, 02:34:00 PM »
Hello all

I cant seem to find the driver where Ch rudders not usb to work with my Saitek x36 combo.  I lost all my files because i had to reinstall Win98.  I have to start from the scratch.  If some could just give me the site where to downlload this driver.

Thx

Does Saitek have special drivers that allow for rudders?

CH rudders are analog and do not use drivers in the non USB form.

CH is located at  www.chproducts.com

I now use CH USB rudders, but when I used to use a set of analog rudder pedals with my Saitek all I did was set up another stick in the Windows Joystick area with rudder pedals checked and calibrated. Then when I went to Aces High joystick setup area I just chose the rudder for the rudder axis and Saitek for the other controls.

Now if you have trouble choosing the right type of stick (which you ignore) to set up that analog set of pedals in Windows, then just get an old analog stick and plug both the pedals and stick into the analog joystick port. Set em up by checking pedals and calibrate. Then put the old stick on the floor out of the way.

I never have used any special set of drivers, other than the standard install drivers, for either my analog/Saitek setup or even my USB pedals/Saitek setup. You don't need them in Aces High. You may need them for the USB pedals only with other flight sims.

hello all,

I have install everything drivers etc.,  computer reads Saitek under gaming options but does not see R only  connection(gives me an error of not connected).  Here is the thing i have Ch game card connected beside Creative Live value gameport.  I have try to disable soundcard gameport to see if it works but still same problem.   Please help cant get the rudders to work.  any ideas will be helpful.  Thank You

I might not be disabling soundcard gameport correctly.  Dont matter which one I disable as long the darn thing works

I had the thing work before till win 98 crash on me know i have to start from the scratch.  Not sure how i worked it last time lol.
