Hello..
« on: July 18, 2010, 01:35:07 AM »
Hey guys I do have a squad for the late early and mid arenas but I would like to participate in FSO's I am not the greatest at fighters Im pretty good at bombing but I can hold my ground in a fighter. I just wanted to ask if some one can invite cut67 to a FSO squad and if it will kick me out of my other squad that does the early mid and late arenas. Also I listen really well and enjoy a structured combat <S>

Wow.. Greetings and Hello cut67!!  :aok

I do not fly FSO, so I can't give you much on it, but because it takes place in the Special Events Arena(s) you can create a squad there like the other arenas, and it is not tied to other arenas at all.
Since it is not tied to those arenas, you can leave and join another, at will, with no effect on the MA arena squads. If you join another squad in Special Events Arena, then that CO or whom ever has invite privy's can invite you. You would withdraw from any current in that specific Special Events Arena and then join the new one.
Hope that helps.

On another note-
I'd like to invite you to join the upcoming Scenario, as well. We (Axis) have a number of slots available and would welcome you as a bomber pilot or fighter pilot.  I have both available, right now. Like FSO, you join a squad and an entire country and meet many experienced pilots with many years of experience and it has been a great thing for me for over 11 years here and 13 years in a previous flight Sim.

They take place over the month of August, each Saturday at 3PM  EST. If you cannot make all frames, we ask that you fly as a walkon. Missing one is acceptable for Registration.
Four Frames and a Test Frame. The dates are listed on the link below.

Registration is here: http://www.ahevents.org/scenario-registration.html

Scenarios are WWII recreations of actual battles. This one is the Philippine Phandango. Here is a brief description:

http://www.ahevents.org/scenario-current-or-next.html

There are also Rules listed here:

You would have to fly as a walkon if you can make it.  Only Register if you know you can make 3 out of the four frames.

We will assign you a squad and that GL or his designated FL would invite you.
If you get your PC fixed, then join us for all Frames!!

And the sleekest, fastest bombers in the Philippines are the Ki-67 Hiryus -- the Flying Dragons!

Yep.  Generally in scenarios, folks stick to one plane.  762 Kokutai is in Ki-67's throughout.  But, with Ki-67's available, you wouldn't want another bomber, would you?  :aok

cut67,

Brooke is one of the finest CO's, CMs, and players in the game. You can take his word to the bank. If you haven't flown the KI-67 bomber, you are in for a treat!! The 20mm tail gun is the deadliest bomber gun around. Wildcat1 is afraid you will use it against the allied planes and annihilate them!! It will happen, they refuse to believe it.

Thanks, guys. <S>

But you know, it's the lure of that sleek Ki-67, its mystique.  Back in 1943, the rumors started of a magnificent new bomber to be deployed, a weapon crafted to push back the evil Americans and to defend our Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere.  Now, it is here, and the time approaches for samurai of the air to weild this weapon in the coming decisive battle in the Philippines.  We are eager for battle!  :aok
