One day later...

Changes from previous release
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

•Fixed a bug that caused a crash if you tried to transmit with your microphone disconnected.


•Made an adjustment to how external sounds scale to distance.


•Adjusted various default sound effect levels.


•Fixed an issue with the keymapper that caused the global keys not to show up.


•Fixed an issue with films where cockpits weren't displaying correctly.


•Fixed a terrain issue where different texture were not displaying.


•Increased support for max sound devices from 16 to 64.


•Voice transmit now highlights the applicable radio in the voice dialog box.


•Hangar speed charts are displaying again.

We still have terrible sound. Add to that the warping. We noticed alot of that.

Can't fix the warping on my end but can improve the game by turning the sound off. Just can't hear your squaddies then but at least you don't get headaches from the low quality scratchy sound.

We still have terrible sound.
Funny, I was on for a couple of hours tonight and all my sounds were fine.  Nothing really too loud, air raid siren toned down, vox just fine.  Quite happy with the whole update so far.

Ditto. But then I went through the trouble of installing the game fresh after saving the folders I wanted to keep. Spent a few minutes tweaking some things and voila' is good.

I just wish I could hear my flaps the engine is so loud and the flaps are so quiet. wish there was some individual tweaking . but the eye candy is great and other sounds are fine by me.
