Typhoon Rockets
« on: July 25, 2010, 05:53:07 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knows which rockets are modeled for the Typhoon?  Historically the Typhoon had two types of rockets (HE & AP).  The AP round was a 25lb shot and according to historical data was very effective.  The HE rockets were 60lb shots.  But I also saw that the 3" rockets had a 60lb HE/SAP (semi-armor piercing) and a 60lb HE/GP (similar to a hollow charge) option.  In the game which rocect is loaded out?  I know the next part should be on the wishlist since I would like to see the option to have the ability to choose which type rocket to take.  But I guess the best option would be the HE/GP since it gives you both HE and AP capability.  But in the end was just wodnering which rocket is modeled for the Typhoon.

I've taken the stance that the warheads are "GP" for all three 3.5in, 4.5in, and 5in rockets in use by US and UK.  Ditto for the two sets of Soviet iar to ground rockets.  The only AP rockets I know of in AH are the Pb1 rockets from the 190F-8.
