Dont forget about the MS successes against Lotus 1-2-3 Netscape WordPerfect Novell and so on. I dont believe this is going to be a Kin repeat at all. While I think Jobs could buy the Pet Rock copyright and sell millions as iRock I wont count MS out for a few decades at least.
