Thrustmaster?
« on: July 26, 2010, 08:13:35 PM »
I was looking to order a Thrustmaster T-16000.

Looks like a good stick, but then again so did the last Saitek I bought and that one is having major issues.

Does anyone have and thoughts on the Thrustmaster? How will it ware.

The one I was looking to but will only put me out $30 so if it does break it wont be that much of a problem.

Any information would be appreciated.

I'm liking Thrustmaster, for an econo stick it's better than any of my logitechs or saiteks.

I have this one right now:

Lots of features. I'm considering buying another for spare, can't afford CH right now.

That looks nice, I was looking at that but my desk is small and may not fit that.

I saw that the throttle is detachable, does it still work once detached?

Yeah, it's hard wired to the stick. Doesn't go far though. I only have 6 or 7 inches separating the pieces on my desk.

It isn't a bad stick and it works well. I bought one for my oldest son to get used to before I stepped him up to a true HOTAS later this year and in my time on it the thing has great response and seems to be pretty good overall.

if you love the game and you love yourself just go get a CH stick and be done with all the worry and niggling issues.  Is my stick spiking?

pffft  it's spiking all over your 6 !    :D

Yes, it's a good stick.  I recommend it.

Feels solid.  Has a few more buttons than my dearly departed MSFF2.  I like twisty sticks.

Once you use it, you'll wonder why it's so inexpensive.
