Surely you would rather prefer to grace the endless blue in something more elegant.  Such as a Beautiful Spitfire or Ki - 84?

P-38L for sure.   Tricycle gear makes planes easier to handle on ground, twin engine-reliability, plus nothing turns chicks heads like a Lightning.

P39 It has tricycle gear and car doors with rolldown windows! Also it has mid engine so the plane would be warmer than most ^.^
