Scratch the horten 229 too, only 1 prototype flew, and it didn't see any action.

only reasons zero's shot down B29s was due to the zeros were waiting for it at a higher altitude, and the B29s flew the same pattern every day.  B29s flew a lot faster than zeros.  Ever been in a B26 being chased by a zero and had to throttle down for it to catch up so u can kill him?

Honestly, that should be true of all bombers in the game.

I am not against having the B29 out side of the extra bombs it didn't fly that much higher or faster than a B17.

B-29 top speed: 357 mph
Cruise speed: 220 mph

B-17 top speed: 287 mph
Cruise speed: 182 mph

The only thing the B-17 had over the B-29 was its service ceiling was 2,000ft higher (35,600 ft)than the B-29s (33,600 ft).  The main reason for the lower altitudes of the missions the B-29 flew over Japan than what the B-17s flew over Europe was due to the Jet Stream.

B29's were forced to bomb much lower as time went on because they could not hit anything at higher alt's. So Lemay when he took over made them come in at about 10k & lower. So the zero's just had to time the dive right to knock them down on their gun runs.

lol allot of talk about B-29's makes it seem like everyone thinks only people in Japanese planes are gonna go after them, germany and the US have loads of planes more than capable of just working the B-29

was about to say that. it isnt like the b-29 is invincible. Hell, it'd be like any other buff in my opinion.

Thing about the B29 by the time you see it, it already passed you by dropped and it is in its way home.  Only way is if you actually it is coming with a 10 min head start and then maybe. It will be one of the hardest things to kill.  That's why.
