I'm still not entirley sold on it yet. Every game I've played that EA and Dice have had a hand in on, has either had terrible AI, bug filled, or both. So far though, it looks somewhat good.

I've been playing the beta for xbox. Seems like a mix of cod and bc2. Beta is full of little bugs and some lag, but most of it should be fixed by release. I'll probably end up getting it, but not right at release date (mostly because of Halo: Reach) and the SP looks like its going to be epic.

Don't expect anything but poop from EA. The company makes good console sports games, but when it comes to war games, especially for PC forget it. I think they got their programmers from Radio Shack.

...BF2?
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?

I've been checking out the website from time to time watching videos, it does look to be a pretty sweet game.  However you could say that about every game in the MOH series since Allied Assault, and they all were trash.  MoH: Airborne was such an incomplete game on launch day I was surprised it was allowed to be released.

I wouldn't recommend getting hyped about any EA game really, they are almost sure to disappoint.

dont forget slipknot...

2nd. EA Games has always hit paydirt with good MoH games. ignore the PSP versions and any console versions (except Rising Sun) and you have the best war game series. It can rival CoD easily. Since 1999 MoH games have proven time and time that they know how to build a great game. MoH Airborne is the only one out of the PC series that i had a problem with. Pacific Assault, Rising Sun, Allied Assault, Underground, the Original, even European Assault was good. Their music scores and soundtracks have put beauty into warfare in many places and times. Hopefully they get the MoH music on the dot for this new age MoH. (i hope that a modern version of MoH hits as big as CoD 4 and 6 did). I've noticed that the gameplay for 2010 MoH will be a mix of CoD and BF2 with a MoH twist. I seriously cant wait. IGN gave it perfect score.

So far out in left field nobody can see it anymore.

The game was good for it's time but it in no way came close to rivaling CoD 1 and 2. Every single MoH title to come out after the original was junk. There were no improvements, just the same tired code and some new eye candy. The Pacific Assault was the first to do something different with supposed ragdoll models but multi-player was horrible. It was also the first change from the Quake game engine, I don't think the Havoc game engine worked well. That was the first game I ever saw that required 2 headshots with every weapon. When MoHAirborne came out, people once again plopped $50 down hoping it would be the saving grace for the game since CoD was getting old...only to be disappointed once again. The fact that it used the Unreal 3 game engine was highly anticipated, and EA did a great job with their propaganda.

If EA gets this one right, a lot of online war gamers are going to be surprised.

My apologies but MoH Allied Assault ran with two add on packs and in my opinion was just as good as the original 1999. Underground was exceptionally good also. And i'm sorry to say this but if there were no improvements but just the same code with new eye candy then what was the difference between CoD1 CoD2 and CoD3? CoD5 was far too unrealistic for my liking. Rising Sun was a great game also, it was different (even somewhat new compared to the others) although it was a console MoH. European Assault could have been MUCH better than it was i'll admit, but the style of gameplay was great even if it seemed like the kills were taken in a crappy hitbox manner. Airborne was terrible, could have been much more than it was but they chose to make small respawnable maps for single player with German Supertroopers with Mg42s on super flak towers that were 5 times as big as the real ones.
But MoH 1999, MoH Underground, Allied Assault with both expansions, Rising Sun, and definitely Pacific Assault were all top of the line. (speaking of PA, what do you mean two headshots? i still play it and i never have a problem with it. One shot one kill for the head.)

And don't deny one bit that the soundtracks for MoH have one upped BF and CoD all along...
