Screen shot size question..

I often see screen shots on here from the game, yesterday i took one that I wanted to post but when i opened it the image was 3MB, way too big to post.  What do I need to do to make the size of the image smaller so that i can post it?.

Convert it to a JPG or a GIF.  Netscape can do this, as can many photo programs.
