TM FLCS/WCS keystrokes delayed in this new version of AH.
« on: August 05, 2010, 05:32:59 PM »
All,

OK, so I haven't been flying for about 7 months, and I installed the new "patch" version a few days ago (so now the AH folder is outside of the Programs Files folder) . I have a few questions, but I'll make separate threads for each.

Question Three: I've been flying with 90's era Thrustmaster flight controllers (the FLCS and the WCS Mk II) since they were new. They are programmed to send keystrokes though a keyboard cable in response to button presses.

My trigger has always been mapped to "n" to fire both weapons. For the past decade (literally), the response in-game was instantaneous to a trigger pull. With this new version, there is a definite observable delay between pulling the trigger and seeing bullets getting fired. The delay is long enough that all my shooting is off. There is no delay in the old version of AH. None of the stick programming has changed.

So Skuzzy, any thoughts as to how this might be possible?

And while I'm thinking about it, if I click the mouse off the clipboard while in flight, I the guns fire too. This is new. Can I turn this off somewhere? (Oh, and the mouseclick guns firing has no delay.)
