D-Box GP-PRO200FS
« on: August 07, 2010, 11:37:24 AM »
I am curious if anyone has any experience with or has heard anything about the D-Box GP-PRO200FS. I not sure of the official nomenclature, but I would call it a limited motion simpit.

Their website mentions a compatibilty with FSX, X-plane, and ESP. I doubt AH will incorporate this anytime soon, but it still looks like an interesting setup.

An interesting note, D-box also makes equipment that can be mounted to couches and chairs, allowing a motion experience to movies. I noticed in the special features section of the Kick-Ass BD disc a mention of this which prompted me to look them up.

I got off the phone a few minutes ago with an audio shop that has sold and installed the home theater setups. The gentleman says the actuator setup for a single chair, couch/loveseat is $8,000. The motion control box that syncs to the DVD/BR player is $4,300. He looked up the PRO-200FS system for me..........$14,000. I'll let someone else try it out. He did say that the build quality of the actuator setup is great. The chair/couch/loveseat setup is rated for 750lbs.
Ho's are like Speedos.
Nothing says you can't use it, but no one wants to see it.
