Author Topic: Getting AH to use the same refresh rate as desktop settings?? (Read 627 times)

hi all,

i've been wondering about this for some time and haven't been able to figure it out on my own.

I have my desktop set to 1600x1200x32bit @ 85 hz. Well, when AH starts and my fps max out, they max out at 75 hz. When alt-tabbing to my desktop and back into AH, you can hear the monitor change refresh rates.

Anyone know how to get AH to read the 85hz as the desktop does? I'm assuming it might be driver related or video settins related, but i'm not sure.

my setup:
winXP Pro
Epox 8kha+
XP 1800+
512 PC2100 Crucial
GeforceII ULTRA 64meg (21.83 nvidia ref drivers)

If you have W2k and nvidia, use program called nvreffix.exe which will set all your display frequencies to level you want.

Usually 85hz.
