you get the kill whether they bail or not. it is very satisfying just knowing that it irks someone when they get killed while in a chute.

Kinda figure if you are riding the chute down, you are hoping to take it home to make a dress. 

Since we don't really die, and planes are free, why would you take the time to take to a cartoon parachute anyway.  Just slows down getting back in the cockpit.

Was in KI-67's at 30k when an LA chased me 100 miles.  Squaddie shot him down and he bailed and sat in his chute.  I turned those babies around and began diving to his alt (about 10k) to shoot him down.

I remember a few years back when a noob asked how to bail. I used to tell them to bail at 20k or higher only, for safety
