VRF Accepting Pre-Orders
« on: December 03, 2001, 08:37:00 PM »
The VRF, The Tactile Feed Back Seat http://www.ivibe.com/  is now accepting pre orders.  The shipping price is $239.95 plus shipping.

"Ever since getting my tactile feedback system hooked up, all my flights have been far more realistic! I think what VRF has done here, is make the ultimate flight simmer's hardware add-on. It's easy to use, comfortable to sit on, and works great! You can take it anywhere and hook up the entire system in minutes. I get great vibrations for the
runway, changes in engine power, rumbling landing gear movements and more! You can even
adjust the vibration level to really shake your teeth out. Just like a real airplane, the seat-of-the-pants feeling you get
makes the entire flying experience much more realistic. After a while, I forget I even have the system hooked up! I only know something's missing if I fly on a friend's machine that doesn't have this system. Once
you use this system, you won't want to fly without it!" Peter James

I have had one of the first models for a couple of years now and I cant say enough about it.  The amount of realism that it add to to flying experience is very hard to to try and explain, but the immersion factor is tremendous Please go to the web site and read or feel free to contact me.

If your looking for a nice present .. think about this before you spend your bucks on a GeForce card that will only give you more fps, this will not only give you a kick in the ass, and allow you to feel the  power of your guns but you can also feel the changes of your engine' RPM's. In fact, you can NOW feel everthing.

I found you guys when the first one was previewed in a flightsim newsletter. About a year and a half ago. I was going to get it then but you guys had manufacturing issues or something thus the delay. I don’t know if I can scrap up the change right now with Xmas and all.
Just wondering though about the vibration, I figure it's on all the time just at a low level and increases/changes location depending on what's going on. But with the vibration going all the time, does it make you kind of itchy? Does it put your body parts to sleep or numb them out?
Sounds funny but they are serious questions.
And I guess from reading, some games are written to work with your product better than those not programmed for it. Is AH one of those games?

If you are looking for a AH beta tester, I'd be glad to help.

My wife is completely satisfied, so I wouldn't need the spouse attachments  :)

The "seat" has several zones that can be adjusted, plus you can adjust the vibration level on the fly (so to speak).  No, it does not numb your body, like a big bass speaker would. But it can scare the sh*t out of you when you hit and dont expect it   :D

At present their is no program written for AH but its not a problem as the new unit will let you program with on the screen GUI. I have been using the old version and I have made my own profile ... its really very simple ... 30 minutes playing with it and you will be a pro.  Again, I think its the single most enjoyable piece of equipment that I own.

The system comes with a money back guarantee,

Here's the deal: Buy the TFS2. USE IT FOR 30 DAYS. If you don't think we've taken your gaming to new heights, and want to return the
TFS2, we'll take it back and give you a full refund of your purchaseprice (shipping charges excluded).
