Anybody here play ww2Online?
« on: August 08, 2010, 08:10:25 PM »
I recently found this game, called ww2Online. It looks really good, and has a free 14 day free trail  :x. But then to my misfortune, you have to have a credit card to try the trail  . I was just wondering if anybody here that does play this game, if it was possible for me to try it on your account, just for a day. I just want to see if it's worth it, if i can run the game, and how it's like. I promise not to mess around with your account, or do anything i shouldnt be doing.

If anybody will be so awesome and kind  :salute just pm me.

P.S. if this is in the wrong section, or "requests"arent allowed, sorry, and a mod could just close it.

Go ahead and give them a debit card number or a credit card. CRS is a trustworthy company, just make sure that you cancel your subscription by the end of the 14th day, no worries.

It is 2 Cents or .02 Dollars...NOT .02 Cents!

I've been trying it for the last few days. It's ok, far from "awesome". I like what they have done with the rebuild. The ranking system and re-supply system keeps the noobs from messing things up. There is very little cooperation with anyone outside of a squad, so you have to learn self reliance quickly. Being observant and stealthy will keep you from getting fragged quickly.

I doubt I'll be maintaining a subscription there. Take away all the fluff and it's just another WWII first person shooter with some "cool stuff" in it.

From what I remember...

Infantry:
Lots of running. Followed by more running. Ride in truck. Run some more. Airplane hide! Find good spot in rubble to hide and wait for enemy. Long while later and you still have your hopes up.... your dead. No idea where from or from what.

Aircraft:
Cant stop my 110 from doing circles on the field because I cant figure out how to turn #2 engine on. Take off finally. Fly. Cant see anything. Auger. Restart.

Ships:
YAWN!

The whole game is pretty much 95% boredom followed by 4% running, and then 1% fun until you get the hang of the game.
