Probably could have found a different way to deal with this, than trying to embarrass him in front of everyone. If you don't like him ignore the kid.
Seriously you're really showing your age here. How is it his fault he doesn't have money. He didn't choose that life. I grew up without money, and I'm sure a lot of people that play this game did also. Guess what? I consider myself much better off now than a lot of the kids from my class that had money. I OWN my own house and two nice trucks all three are paid off, and I'm only 23. Care to guess where a lot of the people I graduated with are at this very moment that had money? Living with mom and dad BECAUSE mom and dad gave them everything and they don't know how to make it on there own. EPIC WIN? Wrong! EPIC FAIL!
Sorry Sanders but, oneupmanship is something people with self esteem issues do, and to teenagers like Tupac it's irritating. If you ever had contact with someone like that, you could not deny that you would feel similar to the way Tupac feels.
It's clear you failed to see that, just as it's clear you selectively picked up on a single sideline that had nothing to do with what was actually going on. It wasn't a dig on you for you for the way you were raised and how you are as an adult, yet you were quick to take some offense to it and defend the compulsive liar whom you don't even know. I would say it's strange but...
Tupac, catch the guy when you're with some of your friends and tell him you have been practicing breaking 2x4s with your bare hands. If he starts his lying, make him prove it. Be sure everyone has cell phones with cameras, could be an epic youtube fail video.
