what do you mean by super fast?

Is it 15 min in game time or real life as I and other squaddies have wondered this recently as well. Attacked a VH from a CV and take down 2 VHs, RTB to carrier, come back and they are back up. Just seems like the 15 min is sure going fast. :salute

I've always thought it was 10 minutes but I've never been one of those stop watch people.

Time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it.   :D

If they seem to pop faster, perhaps they ran field supplies from an adjacent base.  Get enough guys to bring supplies and hangers pop quickly.

First part is true, second is not.  Supplies do not effect down times of hangers.  I used to time hanger when I was in bomber to know how much time they would have.  Was always 15 minutes, admittedly I haven't timed them in a few months but I don't see why it would have changed.

If you don't believe me, it's not hard to test yourself.

Ah, so sups only affect radar, ords, etc. but not hangers.  Never paid that much attention to hangers - bad assumption on my part.

I think the timer starts when you drop the first hanger too. If it takes you 15 minutes to get all the hangers down, the first one is just popping back up.

It seems that the field and town ack comes up faster. By this chart I think it does, cuz I have seen it pop up within 25-30 minutes or less. Maybe HT staff could put in a word about this. Are these charts still good??

Well, yeah, the 15 min is specific to hanger taken down, so as soon as you get the "*** Hanger Down" message, the clock starts.  :salute

The times are right, but it's a common misconception that they are wrong and here's why.  Take a VBase with three hangers.  Each hanger will be down for 15 minutes.  Only one hanger has to be up for vehicles to be enabled.

You take down the first hanger.
Five minutes later, you take down the second hanger.
Five minutes later, you take down the third hanger.
Five minutes later, the first hanger pops back up (since 15 minutes has passed).

You think " :furious?!  Hangers were only down for five minutes?!"

Ack is even more misleading because it is very easy to take one down by accident.  Let's say some Vulcher decides to take out the radar at a vbase and also blows up the ack next to the radar in the process.  Half an hour later, a huge NOE group sweeps in, deacking the base and taking down the vehicle hangers.  Fifteen minutes later, in comes the goon... out go the troops.. and  :furious THEY'RE ALL DEAD!  What the HECK?!?!  Ack was only down for fifteen minutes!!!  The chart MUST be wrong!  But it's not...

And the whole time the Bish are watching this unfold from the tower going

You might be right on the ack part, but I have taken down the same ack within 25-30 minutes :salute
