Posted this pic before. The rig still works well, although my AH playing time is down to zero lately.

I think he did a pretty good job. If you have little extra space (or big honkin wife ack) for your simpit you have to make concessions. I like the way the pedals fold up into the unit. I'll bet the sucker hides away in a closet very nicely.   :aok

How much could I possibly have spent? it's PVC. The beer can was a prop, it wouldn't hold a bottle of Canadian Club.

So let's see the one you built.

I think jimson's is pretty slick. A clean compact, self contained unit.

I had found one once that was a completely enclosed wodden box. I think it was on I-am-bored a while back but I can't find it now. This is a similar one, though.

http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=1165 <--- this is what i have on the way. I'm on a break from the game so I figured I'd get rid of my ghetto setup and get something a bit cleaner looking for the living room.
The seat is extra but doesn't look too comfortable. I'll be using a reclining jeep seat later on. Should have it this week with a new pro 52  :joystick: and mouse. Taking a break is sometimes good  :rock but the withdrawel is a  :OB&*(()# ! If your setup works and is comfortable, go with it! I'm just dodging  :bolt: wife ack NEO style by getting the sim systems one.
