Even though im not well versed on it, just by reading the info provided in your question I would say no.

That's what I'm thinking but there's always hoping.. since the PC1600 runs at the same bus speed as my motherboard.   200mhz

if ur MB doesnt support DDR Ram, then it wont work. DDR mem isnt backward compatible.

No, it won't work.  I wouldn't worry about it too much though, it's not worth an upgrade by itself.  It only tends to yield about a 5 - 10 % performance boost overall.

As far as I know, only the AMD 760 chipset is working properly with DDR ram, but it's expensive and limited production.

Best to wait IMO.
