No I agree with the distinction being made between hoing and jousting, but this would be nearly impossible to implement.  If there were a way to adjust mid-air collisions it would become easier, but as far as I know it's only on or off.  All I'm saying about turning collisions off would be that it would make it so that the ONLY damage done is a result of gunfire.  This would make it unnecessary to draw that distinction, and a good pilot would be able to maneuver in a way that damage to his plane would be minimized, but still getting cockpit shots on the other plane.

If you wanted to make it like a joust.. with walls and each plane staying on each side of the wall, but shooting over it... well I don't know.. I think that's just going to be a big fail.  If there were some way to build a semi-transparent wall that allowed rounds to travel through it, but not planes... then that would be ideal, but I don't believe this option exists.

Crap, I posted the wrong files. I posted the TE files for it.  In a minute I will post the terrain .res file.  When I do, simply download it, drop it into your AHIITERR folder and load it offline.  Sorry for the mix up. :salute

Doesn't matter, sun shines through the mountains anyway.  :lol

Definately like Ranger's joust map as have played his offline missions, however isn't a joust arena be the same concept as a dueling arena?  All you do is go to the North East corner of the map and you have 2 bases on high separated by low valley...  :salute

Anyone have a copy of 1twitlo...err I mean 1Hunglo's old HO...err Jousting map that he made to practice HO's...err I mean jousting?  I think it would be perfect for the Jousting arena.
