Duh! I didn't want to write a three page note re: all the possibilities. HTC could decide how much damage and where on the CV would cause which type of damage. I'm sure a 4000lb'er placed just right would stop it dead in the water forcing the destroyers to circle or could easily make the rudder jam left, right, or straight unable to ZIg-Zag...right?
