I was more intrigued by the door on the thing.  :rofl

Maybe he flies a P-39.
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Ahh, upon further review, it appears like the door serves a purpose, to hold up his keyboard!

Actually it's more of a secondary support.  Wanted more support for the keyboard tray but needed to still be able to get out of the desk so a door was best.  At the right end of the keyboard tray there is a "foot" (are two but one side has no support built yet) that sticks out towards the front of the desk and runs under the 2x4 when in use (the 2x4 is the one the keyboard cable sits on) so that it can be used while door is opened.  You can slightly see the "feet" in the first picture. :)

And NOT that desk is still awesome, love how the controls are depressed into the desk.  Ugly desktop plane though, :P

I expected to see some state of the art set ups, sim pits, etc., but all I saw was empty beer cans, bottles, bongs, half eaten sandwiches, dog bowls, hub caps and junk everywhere. Looked like the set of Sanford and Son.

State of the art, my rig is the only one in existance. I'm ahead of the art of state. LOL
