Why Was A Mindinao.Res Released?
« on: August 19, 2010, 01:04:31 AM »
After last weeks release of the Mindnao map after a few years and all of the attendant AcesHigh.exe unrecovereable errors to desktop. I noticed tonight a new Mindnao.res file uploaded on entry to the BlueLW arena. Mine and my squadmates systems stayed in the game for hours with no AcesHigh.exe unrecoverable errors. Some are still there as of this posting many, MANY hours later.

HTC, what issue did you account for or possibly fix that required an updated (.res) file?

Thank You.

Whatever they did, it worked as I didn't CTD at all.

No CTD's but I did notice that during the fightbetween A3 and A24 near the GV spawn point from A3 sometimes the ground would be transparent, the objects on it, be it trees or vehicles, would still show as solids. I mentioned it during the fight and someone said they normally disco'd when they had that happen but it never got to that stage for me just the clear ground.
I would see an entire rectangular area show white from a distance and when I got closer it was see through ground, had to make sure to pull up early when  diving on those gv's !!
