Why are bomber drone guns no longer firing?
« on: August 20, 2010, 07:14:00 PM »
Just noticed that the bomber drones no longer fire at the target....

That would be fine if we could have multiple gunners but....

Just flew two sorties in MA and my drones no longer fire at the target I am firing and aiming at...

That makes it near impossible to survive...

check your mapping for your buttons....make sure you're using the "fire all". i just saw a set of lancs defending last night...and every dam gun on that thing was firing.  :aok

 One,

You'll see this happen if,a) the target is out past 500 yards or so,the default convergence range.
                            b) the target is inside the convergence range.

Lusche has posted a pic of the defencive guns on bombers and it clearly shows why some guns arent firing at the exact spot your aiming depending on the range of the target.

This can be useful, you can fly just above convergence range, say 800yds,and strafe down plenty of town buildings because of the dispersion pattern.
