Braggin' a little bit, but I've got a 21K worth of bomber perks stashed after six years of being a bomber nut. Need to use the Arado more often, I think.

I always get discoed, or run into a group of people hell bent on HO'ing me. Very disapointing when none of them break, instead turning 3K out to possition their nose for D1000 HO.

not to mention all the new Chinese players we'd be getting.  Win-win!

thank god it takes some skill and intelligence to farm perks in this game, instead of just writing a program to do it, ruins almost every game

I can see it now.

A guy with 7 kills and no ammo heading back to land his kills.

Suddenly a high Tempest appears and starts his dive.

7 kill boi can be seen typing furiously on 200:  Tempest in sector ### don't shoot me down, I'll give ya 100 perkies!!

Then the inevitable reply comes: make it 500 and ya got a deal!!

(Tempy drivers are notoriously greedy)

It could also conceivably turn the MAs into gambling dens. :devil

Jeep races for perks etc.

Actually sounds like a pretty good idea!! :aok

Maybe you need to find a plane that you get a lot of perks points when you shoot down the enemy. :salute

Another well intentioned idea that unfortunately would cause more problems than anything else.  It's even something that I've wished for in the past, since I almost never use the perk points myself, and literally have years and years of fighter perks stashed away.

Another version that could be looked at is having squad "perk points" that are assigned to a squad as a whole. This way when a squad runs a mission, and say they want to do a fighter sweep in 262, the CO can load the mission and populate it using the squad perks.  :salute

Or at the very least limit giving perks to squad members.  How can that be bad?

Because it's a well intentioned idea that would get abused no matter how you try to limit it.

A little time an imagination could see what kind of drama that could cause.  Someone has a falling out with the squad CO, logs in during off hours and runs 20 262's into the side of a hill then withdraws from the squad.  Someone joins a squad to fly some jets then withdraws after he's lost a few, now you have people from the squad running to HTC asking for their perkies back or retribution towards the offending party.

Throw in gangbanging/picking and you described how you fly to a "T".

I'm not talking about a squad-wide perk pool.  Just the ability for one squad member to give some perks to another squad member.  Let's say I've got 3,000 fighter perkies and my squaddie only has 100.  We'd like to have some fun flying a fighter sweep in 262's, so I give him a couple hundred on my perks so he can afford a ride.

Hmm... except i don't ganbang unless its a furball (pretty much the only thing going on in one of those), I don't pick unless someone has asked for help or given me the OK to come lend a hand. And I don't ho.

Oh man, the B.S is so thick I have to wear waders.  Though I do have to admit it was really funny smacking you down last night while you tried to make a 2v1 a 3v1, even funnier when you tried to set up for a HO merge.  Couldn't stop laughing after you and those two others died.

I just find it very humerous that you describe how you fight in your posts are a complete contradiction to how you really fly in the MA.  You do nothing but pick, gang and HO and don't say that you don't because that's all you were trying to do when you were poorly flying a Bf 109E and later a P-40B.
